For Vistoso’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection, the brief was to define a new visual direction and design language for the brand. The project explored how classic eyewear archetypes could be reinterpreted through a more minimal and lifestyle-oriented perspective. Lucid, part of the collection, focused on evolving the traditional aviator silhouette through cleaner proportions, refined detailing, and a more contemporary expression suited for modern everyday wear.

Solution

The final result was Lucid — a minimal reinterpretation of the classic aviator that helped establish a more modern and cohesive identity for Vistoso eyewear. Released as part of the SS2018 collection in Seoul, the design combined the edge and confidence of Korean street fashion with restrained Scandinavian influences, resulting in a clean and timeless silhouette. Through subtle detailing, balanced proportions, and a refined material approach, Lucid created a contemporary eyewear expression that feels both urban and understated.
